One of the first signs that summer is near, is the reemergence of farmers markets. There are many different markets across the St. Louis region and with a little research anyone should be able to find a convenient location. Regardless of the market location, they tend to be on the weekends, like the Ste. Genevieve Farmers Market, which opens this Saturday, May 4.

Go See A Show...


The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra offers a number of concerts ranging in genres, from classical to pop culture hits. Enjoy a night at the orchestra by taking in a dramatic tale, scored by a swelling symphony with Symphonie Fantastique, known as the classic French composer Berlioz’s “most celebrated” work. Or, if something more contemporary is preferred check out their shows like Music of Led Zeppelin and Ghostbusters In Concert.

Dance Down Memory Lane...

Step back into time with a night of retro fun at Cedar Lake Cellar’s 50s Pin-Up Night. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the good ol’ days by dancing to retro bands, enjoying delicious food, and participating in a ‘Pin-Up Contest.’ Don’t forget to dress for the occasion in 50s attire.

For a fascinating educational outing, stop by the Jefferson Barracks Telephone Museum is opening a new exhibit, which will feature telephones used by military personnel. And with the 75th anniversary of D-Day approaching, there’s no better time to make a visit.
