At this renowned institution, Sunday afternoons are dedicated to family fun with Family Sundays at the Art Museum. Take in art throughout the museum with a spirited tour, or participate in a variety of guided hands-on activities designed to fit a different theme each week.

Stop and Smell the Flowers at the Orchid Show
You’ll find beautiful things at the Missouri Botanical Garden year-round, but now is the time when it really shines. Enjoy hundreds of blooming orchids at the Orchid Show to really catch spring fever.

Attend a Festive St. Patrick’s Day
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this weekend by attending a parade. Downtown, thousands will gather to watch festive floats and marching bands make their way down Market Street at the 50th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. In addition to the parade, families can enjoy live entertainment and go shopping for food, drinks and other trinkets at the Irish Village at Ballpark Village. In the Irish neighborhood of Dogtown, there will be the Dogtown Irish Festival with community festivities with a parade, traditional Irish dancers and music.

Wurstfest
This year is the 40th anniversary of the Annual Hermann Wurstfest, where attendees gather to celebrate the German traditional art of sausage making. Families can enjoy a wide selection of food and activities from sausages samples and sauerkraut-making classes to traditional German music and dancing, and so much more.
