Nesa Joseph, Ed.D.
Mr. Joseph joined Visiting Nurse Association of Greater St. Louis as President and CEO in August 2013. He completed a Master of Hospital Administration degree followed by a 2 year Fellowship in Hospital Administration and has obtained his Doctorate in Education with a focus on Medical Administration.
Mr. Joseph has served hospitals in senior management positions in the U.S. and in India for over 25 years. Before joining VNA, Mr. Joseph served as Vice President of Deaconess Foundation. Prior to Deaconess Foundation, Mr. Joseph served as the CEO of Manipal Hospital and Heart Foundation in India. Earlier career opportunities have been with the St. Louis Medical Group and Deaconess Incarnate Word Health System in St. Louis and Advocate Healthcare System in the Chicago region. Mr. Joseph also established the administrative organization and operations of the Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Center in India in the early 1980's.
Mr. Joseph serves in a variety of consulting and advisory roles to non-profit hospitals and medical groups. At present, he volunteers a few weeks each year assisting mission hospitals in Cameroon, Madagascar and India through Global Health Administration Partners.
Mr. Joseph's drive for excellence, strong financial and leadership abilities, organizational development, and financial oversight are coupled with a true passion for serving others.
