ATTENTION!!  VNA OF GREATER ST. LOUIS HAS VACCINE AVAILABLE TO HELP ST. LOUIS FIGHT FLU SEASON

Visiting Nurse Association of Greater St. Louis (VNA) is excited to offer regular flu shot vaccinations at a discounted rate of $20 to help St. Louis in its fight against, what is estimated to be, a record season for flu. 

VNA will gladly dispense the flu vaccine at its walk-in facility located at 11440 Olive Boulevard, Suite 200, Creve Coeur, MO 63141.  Regular flu shots will be offered Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., no appointment is needed. 

The number of influenza cases is higher than usual for this time of the year. Because influenza is cyclical, the peak can vary from season-to-season and, based on historical data, the influenza season often peaks in February.  This 2012-2013 flu season has already reported 1,464 cases compared to a total of 1,446 for the entire 2011-2012 season.  Flu cases are occurring earlier than in recent years and Missouri has reported Widespread Influenza activity to the CDC.
